Teddy after listening to Pretzel's stories and explains to Pretzel that, just like her abstract paintings come to her so do the words and music come to him and he can FEEL to play them and sing words that just come into his heart despite not knowing how to read or write a single note. He is a conduit for the Universe he tells her and he just "opens up" and words music come into his Spirit.
